I’m loving how writing these mini-blogs is encouraging me to be extra aware and observant of my day-to-day and moment-to-monent experiences of life.

Walking the dogs this morning, I was thinking about what to write about today, and I decided to write about the joy of relaxing.

I had decided to spend a few hours this morning with no agenda and it was awesome. For the past few weeks, I’ve been go-go-go, with most of my time scheduled out.

So, to sit on the couch, play around on my iPad, watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians, fire on, blanket, coffee, was just lovely.

Then, when getting on to some of the tasks for the day, I had a renewed energy, enjoyment, and focus due to the re-charging.

The joy and relaxing feeling came from my thoughts, thinking about how enjoyable the experience was.

Have you taken time to relax, decompress, and enjoy time with yourself lately, despite the hectic-ness? What are some of the ways you enjoy relaxing? How do your thoughts about this time impact how you feel?

Or, is the opposite true for you: too much relaxing and not enough action towards accomplishing your dreams? I’ve been there too.
