The second week after the move, we decided to check out a gym, National Institute of Fitness and Sport (NIFS). This gym had a great vibe, so we joined!
It’s affiliated with the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) Campus. There’s an indoor track, tons of group classes, and the place is huge! The locker rooms are spacious. In the building next door, the Natatorium, NIFS members can swim for free at the hugs indoor pools used for Olympic training.
As we were adjusting to the time change from West Coast to Eastern Time Zone, we decided to make our wake-up time for Monday through Thursday to be 5:10 AM to get to the gym by 6:00 AM.
