I love this quote I just read from Abraham-Hicks, Law of Attraction speaker and author:
“The idea of ‘success,’ for most people, revolves around money or the acquisition of property or other possessions, but we consider a state of joy as the greatest achievement of success. And while the attainment of money and wonderful possessions certainly can enhance your state of joy, the achievement of a good-feeling physical body is by far the greatest factor for maintaining a continuing state of joy and Well-Being. And so, there are few things of greater value than the achievement of a good-feeling body. (Excerpted from: Money and the Law of Attraction on August 31, 2008).”
There are a few cool things about this quote.
1. “A state of joy as the greatest achievement of success.” How cool is that? If we are striving for success, are we striving for joy? What do we really want out of success anyway? I can totally see that seeking success is also seeking joy. Therefore, seeking joy is seeking success!
2. “The achievement of a good-feeling physical body…” Feeling good in our bodies is a worthy achievement. I agree. How often do we feel great by taking care of ourselves, eating well and exercising? I’d say very often for me.
3. “…maintaining a continuing state of joy and Well-Being.” I also love that they encourage us to focus on maintaining the joy and well-being.
This whole quote feels good and healthy. And when we focus on the good feeling, we will act in the way that we are focusing. So, by focusing on feeling good and healthy, we are creating feeling good and health.
Are you focusing on feeling good and healthy? Or is your focus scattered and distracted on feeling not so good or focused on unhealthiness? How would life be different to focus on feeling good and healthy?
