I’ve been thinking about the feeling of disappointment and analyzing it as an emotion.
Since feelings are vibrations in our bodies, disappointment is a vibration also.
For me, disappointment is a heaviness in my chest. How does it feel for you?
We spend a lot of time and effort trying to avoid feeling this feeling.
We won’t put ourselves out there. We hide from rising up. We delay our forward movement. All to avoid the feeling of disappointment.
What if feeling this feeling were ok? Part of life? Part of growth?
I think it is. Accepting this feeling as a vibration in my body lessens its power over me and allows me to move forward in pursuit of my goals.
